Try to appear your best at the Interview.  Your appearance should convey that you have taken the interview seriously. Some basics in grooming will help.

Know about the company.  Get the knowledge as much as you can about the company.  Visit the Company Website.  Understand through the references what others are saying about the company.
Answer clearly and directly.  Talk your ideas as clearly as you can.  Don't be overly wordy and try to keep your answers to the point. Be to the point of the questions.
Do not be argumentative.  Present your viewpoint and be professional.  If you do not agree with something the Interviewer has said do not react immediately. Learn to understand their point of view even if it clashed with your own.
Be Confident : Prepared well and this should show in your confidence level in the interview.
Be prepared with questions for the Interviewer.  Most interviewers will give you a chance to ask questions.  Use this opportunity to show your knowledge and interest in the company.  Also this is a good opportunity to clear any doubts that you have.
Address the Interviewer politely.  It is always polite to refer to the Interviewer as SIR or Maam.  You can also address them their Surname (Mr. XXX or Mrs. XXX).  Do not use terms such as Honey, Girl, Dude, and Yaar etc.
Positive Attitude. Offer a firm handshake, make eye contact, and have a friendly expression when you are greeted by your interviewer. Exhibit a positive attitude. The interviewer is evaluating you as a potential co-worker. Behave like someone you would want to work with. Positive attitude says: You can achieve success.
Etiquettes. Proper interview etiquette is important. Remember to greet the receptionist, your interviewer, and everyone else you meet politely, pleasantly and enthusiastically. Send a letter or email expressing your appreciation for the opportunity to meet with them within a day or two following the interview.
An invitation for an interview shows that, on paper, you are the right person required by the organization for the vacant position.
